Doha Tribeca Film Festival - Call for Volunteers!

DOHA TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL 2010 SEEKS ENTHUSIASTIC VOLUNTEERS

Launched in 2009, the Doha Tribeca Film Festival (DTFF) is a cultural partnership between the Doha Film Institute and Tribeca Enterprises, with a shared focus on education and community engagement. Celebrating the best in Arabic and international cinema, DTFF’s ongoing mission is to inspire, engage and educate a new generation of film enthusiasts.
DTFF is Doha Film Institute’s (DFI) annual celebration of its year round film initiatives.

The Doha Tribeca Film Festival could not happen without the dedication and hard work of our volunteers. Volunteers work throughout the Festival in various capacities. These positions are unpaid but will provide priceless experience. Volunteering is often the first step in the door for people interested in pursuing or advancing a career in the film industry.

Last year, for its first edition, DTFF received the support of 1000 dedicated volunteers that made one of Doha’s key cultural events happen.

For its 2010 edition, the Doha Tribeca Film Festival is looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would like hands on experience and are available to help out in the lead-up to and during the festival. DTFF relies on the skills of a dedicated team of volunteers to fill various positions both prior to and during the festival.

Volunteers must be over the age of 18 and speak English well. Knowledge of other languages, especially Arabic, is of great value.
Volunteers who work just during the festival period are required to commit to at least three shifts, which generally will range from three to-six hours or more, depending on department assignment. DTFF also offers Internships opportunities for those who want to be even more involved.

Starting August 15th, all those interested in volunteering can go to HERE and register! Online registration is necessary in order to be considered for Volunteer or Intern.
For any questions, please write an email to volunteer@dohafilminstitute.com and you will be contacted shortly.
