Winter break is coming!

With winter break fast approaching, here are a few reminders:

• You are not required to check-out/ turn in your keys unless you are not returning to QF housing in Spring 2011. If you do not return in the spring, and have not properly checked out, you will be billed for improper checkout, missing keys/PED, and any cleaning fees in addition.
• You will not be charged for any time you spend in QF housing during winter break this year
• If you have roommates not returning for the Spring 2011 semester, a new roommate may be assigned in the empty space(s). Please be sure to leave those spaces clear for room preparation, or you may be charged for any additional required cleaning/straightening. Please be considerate of any potential new roommates!
• CLEANING YOUR APARTMENT
• Vacuum and sweep all areas of your apartment (room and common spaces);
• Take out the trash;
• Make sure all perishable and partially used food is thrown out;
• Clean and put away the dishes;
• Organize the living area after it has been cleaned;
• Close and lock all doors and windows;
• Clear and clean well your fridge;
• Make sure all faucets are turned off and that the water heater is turned off;
• Remove all personal decorations hanging on the wall (students will be charged for any holes or other damage in order to have them professionally repaired and brought to its original condition).
• Please talk with your roommates about how the room should be left and do your best to have it clean in an acceptable manner when you leave so that we can be sure which roommate(s) should be billed for any damage or excessive cleaning.
