Maybe you feel like you need to live someplace else, but your FIRST STEP is to contact your RHD to talk about any roommate issues you may be having currently. Once you and your roommate(s) have begun to talk about expectations and setting some parameters for being good roommates for one another you may find that you don’t want to move at all – you just needed some open communication!
In any event, there is a Room Change Moratorium (big word for, no one changes rooms yet) for the first two weeks after classes begin. This moratorium on room changes is to ensure we have all spaces accounted for and all students have arrived for classes. We are bound by the availability of space and the specific requests related to a room change. There is no guarantee a room change will be able to take place – so get talking to your CDA, your RHD and your roommate(s)!
