Points of Pride

While we are always working to improve the experiences for our residential students, we also have some accomplishments by our professional and student staff that make us particularly proud of their work with and for students. While we are still analyzing the results from the spring survey, I’d like to share some initial data with you. Some highlights to share:

  • Over 200 programs/events for residents to take part in with just over 2300 total attendees.
  • In addition our RHD staff had a total of 1,009 individual meaningful contacts with residents (meeting with some residents more than once, thereby developing deeper relationships)
  • RHD staff met with 434 individual residents since 1 August 2010 (92% of respondents indicated they had interacted with their RHD while 88.5% indicated their RHD had made an effort to get to know them!)
  • More than 2,200 maintenance requests were completed since 1 June 2010
  • More than 270 student moves took place since the summer of 2010 (85% of respondents indicated Hall Desk Clerk staff are a useful resource for them!)

We hope you have had an enjoyable and successful year living in our residence halls and we look forward to working with our continuing students in the fall!
